When you develop and mass-produce custom products in China, not every product or business model requires the same type of supply chain strategy.
At HBSFW, we offer innovative outsourced and offshore one-stop contract manufacturing in China, producing parts (sheet metal, stamping, welding, CNC, assembly) directly from our three manufacturing facilities, and carrying out final product assembly and packaging, providing full support during product development and rigorous system quality control processes.

Product Assemblies (Finished Goods)
70% of our customers required full product assembly in HBSFW manufacturing facilities. From simple, custom mechanical assemblies to complex electro-mechanical assemblies, they need finished products, packaged and ready for retail, no matter if they sell online direct to consumer or in a brick and mortar shop. HBSFW ships directly to customer’s 3PLs, distribution centers and dealer networks in more than 25 countries.
As part of the design process, we work with the customer to custom design packaging to optimize distribution and freight costs, while ensuring products reach the end user looking brand new. Depending on product design and functionality, it is also possible to design knock-down or semi-knock-down packaging and assemblies to further reduce transportation costs.
Sub-Assemblies
90% of the products we produce are reassembled in China and final assembly is done at the customer’s factory. This is a good solution to reduce logistics costs, reduce and simplify inventory, while increasing on-time shipments as the market demands more options, especially in one of the following situations:
– The product design is modular and different finished products can be created through the combination of various seed components;
– Product design requires multiple sub-components, some of which may not be cost competitive to manufacture in China due to low value per CBM(volume);
– Very large products not optimized for container loading;
– The product design needs to be close to the final configuration and customization of the end user, where it is cost effective to provide standard components in the HBSFW facility in China, while still allowing the final customization to be done close to the end user;
Components and Parts
Our remaining customers purchase medium to high volume custom components from our custom sheet metal manufacturing facility. This can be advantageous for the following reasons:
– Our production facilities in China can accommodate high volume, high speed and fast custom parts production, from precision sheet metal, custom tubing, CNC parts (turning or milling); Many onshore facilities are geared towards small batch projects
– Strong local supply chain allows fast and low-cost tools and fixtures to increase production quickly and economically;
– Spare parts or replacement parts, faster turnaround compared to onshore OEM or spot suppliers;
